Getting through difficult times.

As many of you know, this year has been rough on our family. From injury and surgery to hospitalizations and Allen's father passing away, it feels like we keep taking the hits.

Starting our year off, Allen was limited in the activities he could do as a result of an injury he sustained in December of last year. This injury led to multiple injections, rounds of physical therapy, and even surgery. Just six weeks after Allen's surgery, he was hospitalized and diagnosed with diabetes. Just a couple of days after his release, he was hospitalized again, where they discovered a problem with his liver. There have been several medical appointments working toward his recovery. Allen was then hospitalized again at the beginning of November for complications. Last week Allen was finally seen by a gastroenterologist who diagnosed him with Stage 3 Liver Disease just a few days after the passing of his father.

I am currently working part-time but with Allen's progressing health issue and the passing of his father, keeping life on track continues to prove difficult.

What will this funding go towards?

The following items are listed in order of priority.

Bills:

• Past Due and December Rent: $2,850.00

• November Utilities: Approxemently $350.00

• November & December Car Payments (Reliable transportation to Allen's medical appointments and Owen's Autism therapy)

• Phone (This allows us to keep in contact with family and medical providers)

Household Needs:

• Fuel

• Food

• Children's Needs (Diapers, Wipes, Etc)

Assistance with travel for Allen's father's memorial service in Alabama.

• Food - $150.00

• Hotel - $200.00
