Help Ricardo

Ricardo is my husband Angel’s father... a kind, gentle, loving, dedicated, hard working, father and grandpa.  Lately he has had a pretty tough run for his money. 

Suzy- his wife of nearly 30 years tragically passed away in June 2019 leaving him widowed many years too young.

With covid over the last year things have  just gotten more complicated. He is a skilled architect but has struggled to find work as the economy has plummeted. He turned to driving for Uber as a way to make ends meet. 

In December he was diagnosed with Covid-19 and sadly did not have health insurance. He pad out of pocket for his medications, tests and oxygen which adds up. 

Last week he was kidnapped by an armed gunman as he was driving for Uber. He was held hostage and forced to drive several hours from his hometown and ultimately abandoned on the side of the road. The perpetrator took took his personal belongings including wallet & phone as well as his car. 

Thankfully he was physically unharmed but he is now w dealing with the repercussions of being held at gunpoint for hours and robbed of everything he had. He did have auto insurance but whilst we wait to find out if they will cover the theft of his car he is without income. 

We would greatly appreciate any funds to help him get back on his feet!
