The Morrell Family

Donation protected
This weekend, my brother-in-law had a severe mental health crisis and was admitted to the hospital.

Not only has this been an extremely stressful incident for him and his family worrying for his safety and well-being, it will be financially stressful going forward. Due beds being full locally, he had to be admitted to a hospital that was out of network for their insurance.

Alex is the breadwinner in my sister’s family, which includes my nieces, Evangeline (8) and Salem (3). Megan works part time, but it is not enough to support her family alone. They live states away from family, but luckily my mom was visiting at the time of the incident and has been a godsend.

Alex has been battling bipolar disorder for longer than he even knew. He and his family have been bearing this burden in private. He has been receiving treatment, but it wasn’t enough. We want to give him the means to support his family so that he is able to focus on his mental health at this difficult time.

Upon being released from the hospital, he will be admitted into an intense outpatient program that will require lots of time and funds.

I know that this couldn’t have come at a worst time of year, but if you are able, please consider donating.
