Daisy’s Surgery

Hello,

As many of you are aware, 6 weeks ago my gentle giant of a best friend became quite poorly with a severe hind leg injury, she has now been on box rest for 6 weeks and unfortunatley had a complication 2 weeks ago where the vet believes Daisy has fallen victim to blood clots after being on 3 legs for nearlly 3 weeks, this means that her skin on her other hind leg and under her tail has died. Resulting in very sore infected absesses. She has a severe absess underneath her tail covering her whole dock and despite many attempts/creams and 2 courses of antibiotics this hasnt been able to heal. I have now been told that she has to go for surgery next week to try and save her tail and not have it amputated! I am lost for words and feel so sorry for her and although i have managed to keep the vet bills at bay up until now, my insurance is void which means the cost of surgery is tough! 100% any amount raised will go towards helping Daisy recover

i hate asking for help and i wouldnt in any other circumstances, however this girl is my best friend and id like to do all i can to save her.

so if you could spare anything i would be eternally grateful
