Lack of paid sick time and Dr bills

My name is Linden. I have had several serious falls recently involving getting my face stitched up twice. The last was the worst with a serious closed brain injury. I have been able to work a little but my take home last month was $425. I am at the end of my rope at age 64, and it just feels like the walls are closing in on me. My work is interpreting for Deaf students in the public school system. I don't know which way to turn or where to go but I do know I am severely depressed. Any help or suggestions would be welcome.
