Democratic Republic of the Congo

The pastors in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, central Africa, are facing desperate times.  Their area is war-torn, impoverished, and disease-ridden, and they consider themselves fortunate if they have even one meal a day. Most cannot afford a formal education. Despite these circumstances, they are driven to live out their calling to preach the Gospel.  Through week-long institutes, Global Teaching and Preaching brings to them the courses they need to be effective pastors in their villages and cities.  We expect to teach between 600-800 pastors this summer. We will also preach in some of their churches on weekends.  We leave June 29 and return on July 16.  Please help us provide the resources which they will need in order to bring healing to this country experiencing turmoil on many levels.
