CJD Research in Honor of Rosie Mouritzen

Rosie Mouritzen, born July 30, 1964, passed away on October 25, 2023 from Creutzfeldt-Jacob Disease (CJD), a prion-based disease.

The Memory and Aging Center at UCSF conducts research for this illness, identifying onset markers and opportunities for treatment, which are entering clinical trials soon.
