Fighting Cancer - Lois Heflin

My mom, Lois Heflin is fighting cancer for the 2nd time. They are very proud & are not one's to ask for help. I have not told them I am creating this Go Fund Me account. So if you know them please don't say anything. My hope is to raise $ to help cover some medical expenses & living expenses & surprise them with it. They finished paying medical bills from the 1st time she had cancer in the past year & a half to 2 years . It took them 10 years to pay them off. She started chemo about 2 months ago & the medical bills are coming in. She is still working (even when she doesn't feel good...tough mama) but she has labs, doctors & then chemo every week from Wednesday through Friday for 3 weeks in a row. Then she has 1 week off to recoup & then starts it all over again. She is not getting paid for her time off as her leave has been exhausted. My dad is retired but has been doing whatever extra he can to help get things paid. She was told she would have chemo for approximately 10 months & then surgery after to remove the remaining cancer. A neighbor of their's contacted me about a letter she wrote & delivered to 10 local churches seeking help with possible fundraisers listing me as the contact. Unfortunately I have not heard from anyone. If anyone is able & willing to help it will be greatly appreciated. If not, prayers are free & there is no limit on them. Thanking everyone in advance.
