Emmanuel Medical Fund

We are asking for help on behalf of our 5 year old son, Emmanuel. Emmanuel has been under doctor's care for cancer since December 2020 and unfortunately now has relapsed with high grade sarcoma, a cancer of the soft tissue. As treatment for relapsed high grade sarcoma is not necessarily a standardized regimen, doctors are currently in the process of gathering all of the potential treatment options for Emmanuel and our family to determine which is the best one for him. He will be undergoing a surgery later this week to have an indwelling catheter placed for IV treatment infusions, and will plan to consent and start therapy later next week. He will require frequent visits to the Jimmy Fund Clinic at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (the pediatric oncology clinic), and potentially admissions to the Boston Children’s Hospital if he were to get sick and require admission. He will require frequent home care from both his mother and father.
