Home lost to fire.

My name is Christina Mitchell, myself as well as my siblings and our families, are starting this gofundme in hopes to raise funds for our parents, as they lost their house early morning 8/5/23. Our parents and their dog are all okay and were not in the house at the time. However, the house is a total loss. At this point, we are not sure how much insurance will cover. Unfortunately, the family heirlooms and other family memorabilia that were lost are irreplaceable. We do hope to be able to help them, at least, start to rebuild and replace the items they are able to. Along with all of the household items they lost, they also lost all of the baby items and furniture my dad used to care for their youngest grand daughter during the weekdays.

Our parents have weathered other hardships over the past few years; including a traumatic brain injury suffered by our dad and the lengthy legal battle that followed.

Our parents have been there to help all of us during all of our times of need. We all wish we were able to help them as much as they deserve. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer much help and are humbly reaching out.
