Save Lucy

Hi Friends and Family,

Around 4 months ago, our lovely Lucy started experiencing chronic vomiting and lethargy. We knew something was wrong. We took her to the vet a couple of times and her bloodwork and urinalysis were normal. We then decided she needed an ultrasound.

The ultrasound found a mass in her stomach near her esophagus and a thickening in her small intestine. Due to the location of the mass, there is no way to get a sample with a standard biopsy. The only option is to remove the mass with surgery and then biopsy ASAP. Without surgery, she only has months to live.

Unfortunately, Derek and I are not able to cover these costs alone. I was let go from my job on January 1st and am currently interviewing for new positions.
