Travel & Medical Expenses

On August 29, 2023 Vashti & Braden's world flipped upside down.

Vashti went in for a visit after dealing with stomach issues for a while, her doctor immediately sent her to the emergency room. After a long 24 hours of sitting in the hospital the unthinkable happened. Vashti was told she had stomach cancer. After a lot of testing Vashti was diagnosed at stage 3.

Vashti has returned back to work, because let's be honest, nothing will keep this girl out of a library. She was accepted as a patient at MD Anderson in Texas and will begin her treatment journey on September 25, 2023.

We are asking for donations to help Vashti & Braden with travel and medical expenses as they travel back and forth between Missouri and Texas over the course of Vashti's treatment.

Vashti is ready to fight, and we are ready to stand alongside her through this journey.
