Support Tim, Sarah, Audrey & Sophia Lynch

As most of you know, over the past year our dear friend Tim Lynch has been battling pancreatic cancer. He is facing this in exactly the same way that he has always lived his life complete with an ever-present smile and a dogged determination to continue living as fully as he can for as long as he can.

While maintaining a full workload for his beloved Weihenstephan, he’s been crossing as many things off of his bucket list as possible. His courage to face his prognosis and live each day as best as he can is truly admirable. I met with him on a recent evening after he had spent several hours in the hospital for treatment earlier that day and his greeting was so typical of Tim. He met me with “DUDE it’s great to see you” and after very candidly discussing his condition he shrugged and said “It is what it is”. He then proceeded to ask about our families and updated us about his. Other than his cherished daughters Audrey and Sophia and wife Sarah, there is nothing more important to him than the friends, associates and colleagues he has made around the world through his role as the U.S. country manager for Weihenstephan.

His warmth and enthusiasm for life has touched us all. Time is running short for Tim, and he will not be present physically when his daughters graduate from college and begin their independent adult lives.
