Mochi

Hi friends and family..

Mochi needs our help, we were just told she needs to go in for another surgery in the next day or so, or we need to say our good byes :(

This all started last weekend, She started to throw up and not keep anything down for two days, so I took her to summit bridge vet and they took X-rays and told us they recommended doing an exploratory surgery to see if foreign matter was causing this issue. They did the surgery, showed me what they found (looked like cloth) and kept her on fluids and pain meds. She would not eat when she came home.. which started showing signs of complications with the surgery. I took her to vet again because she started regurging alot yesterday morning. I took her straight to blue pearl animal hospital to be seen by board certified surgeons and they are doing all they can. They put a tube down her nose to help with the regurging, they also took fluids out of her belly to make her more comfortable. They tested for bacteria to make sure she didn’t have septic gut. Her white blood cells are high, and there are some bad bacteria but not enough to be in septic shock :( They gave her 12-24 hrs too assess the situation and now we are at the final decision. We really feel Mochie deserves this last chance of survival ❤️ We love her so much
