Gabby Zarate (Medical Bills)

Gabby is the sweet 13-year-old daughter of Michael & Nelida Carrera Zarate from Rio Grande City, who has always been very outgoing and friendly. If you have met her before you know what I am talking about. She would start up a conversation with anyone about basically anything. She has always been involved in extracurricular activities at school but her favorite hobby has always been her livestock animals. She has shown steers and heifers at the Starr County Fair, San Antonio Livestock Show and Mercedes Livestock Show since she was in the 3rd grade.

Our outgoing Gabby began to change in late 2022. After many doctor visits, she was diagnosed with Bilateral Thalamic Glioma (a rare tumor in the brain that has no cure). As we all know, insurance will only cover so much, therefore the medical bills will be piling up.

Our community has always been known to help each other out in hard times and that is why I am here asking for your help today. I would also like to ask everyone to please keep Gabby in their prayers.
