As you may know, Gabe is known to be a man of many traits. Gabe's humour and laughter is contagious and could be heard across the room. His positive energy and ambition to strive is something we all appreciate. Even on bad days he always seems to stay optimistic throughout. He is so passionate for the outdoors and loves to fish. He is a loyal friend, brother, son and boyfriend.

On Tuesday morning, April 25th, Gabe was involved in a tragic workplace incident, no fault of his own. A co-worker and Gabe were air-lifted to Sunnybrook Hospital Burn Ward. He suffered severe life-threatening and life-altering burns. 70% of Gabe's body currently suffers from third and fourth-degree burns and has to undergo multiple surgeries to save his life. It's a tragedy something like this could happen days before Worker's National Day of Mourning

No one ever prepares you for situations like this. Gabe is surrounded by his loving family daily helping him through this long journey at the hospital. His family: Pam (Mother), Gabe (Father), Shane and Matt (Brothers), Sarah (Significant other), and his extended family need all the support they can, to get through this tough time. Expenses such as lost wages, parking, food, and gas for vehicles add up. The doctors helping Gabe have mentioned that he will be at Sunnybrook for 4 months. The journey is a long road ahead to healing, and anything in this time of need helps.

If you know him, you know he's still fighting hard in the state that he's in. Gabe is righteous and has always stood up for people that couldn't stand up for themselves and fought for what he believes in. Right now Gabe is the one that needs help.
