All for you Gabriel Martinez-Paz y Puente!

Dear friends & colleagues, my brother has been diagnosed with a very agressive sarcoma of the chest. The doctors think that this cancer, which measures 12x15cm, started in his ribs, and it has now eaten through 2 levels. The tumor has compressed his left lung to near complete dysfunction and is pushing on his heart.

At 44 years old, this cancer has left him with severe difficulty breathing and being active. With a heavy heart and after much consideration, I ask you for your help in providing him with a chance to receive treatment.

My brother lives in Mexico City, where public medical services are complex and sometimes impossible to reach promptly. He needs very aggressive surgery to remove the tumor, part of his lung, and the affected ribs and reconstruct his chest wall. Gaby is not only my loving brother, but he is my best partner in crime. He is a wonderful son to my mother and undoubtedly a supportive brother, uncle and friend to everyone who has crossed paths with him. He has selfless, always helping those around him despite his discomfort. He and we, his family, need your help.
