Gabriel Superheroes
Donation protected
Hi! I’m Gabriel but everyone calls me Gabe. I’m 10 years old. I am a Superhero fighting sickle shaped blood cells, which you probably know already, caused by my Sickle Cell Disease. My superpowers include super strength and special fighting abilities with my positive energy despite my adversity. Right now, I get blood transfusions every month to help keep me healthy and strong. Some of my more epic battles include many pain crises, acute chest episodes that made it hard for me to breathe and a stroke. This summer, I am facing my biggest obstacle yet. On June 24th, 2020, I will undergo a Stem Cell Transplant at Children’s Hospital in Dallas, TX to cure me of Sickle Cell Disease. I have a very special, mystery superhero sidekick that donated their perfectly matched and healthy cells to help me win! You can join me on my fight by making any contribution to cover out-of-pocket costs, and of course, the occasional action figure. However, what’s needed the most is the best superpower in the universe, your prayers!
