Road to the LPGA

Hi, my name is Gabrielle Shipley. I am a  recent graduate of Grand Valley State Univeristy. I received a full scholarship to their women's golf team and played all four years. This past season, my senior year, I WON the DII National Championship with a four-day score of -6. 

I am a two-time First Team All-American and have been golfing since I was 5 years old. I got my first hole-in-one when I was 12 years old, and my second this spring during our Regional Championship tournament.

Ever since I was a little girl my dream was to become a professional golfer on the LPGA. This coming summer, I will play in stage 1 of Q-School in Rancho Mirage, California on August 22nd; Stage 2 will be held in Venice, Florida October 17th and the final stage will be held at LPGA International on November 28.

All the funds that I raise will go directly to my expenses for Q-school, living in Florida to practice year round, and a summer schedule between the LPGA and Symetra tour. The first Q-school event is August 22nd, but I will be moving down to Florida the beginning of August.
