Support Dublin High School Sanitization Drone
Donation protected
We are Gael Force Robotics (GFR) at Dublin High School. GFR is a student run VEX Robotics Club that promotes robotics and STEM-related projects/endeavors to students on our internationally awarded competition teams, our development team, and aims to utilize technology to deliver changes with positive, tangible impacts on our community.
Currently, we are constructing a drone to disinfect our Gaels Football Stadium and other Dublin High School facilities both indoors and outdoors: Project T.E.R.S.U.S. (Technologically Effective Rapid Smart Unmanned Sanitizer)
Our drone can manually or autonomously sanitize various parts of our school campus for a quarter of the market price. Project T.E.R.S.U.S incorporates artificial intelligence technology for automated flight control and the dispensing of sanitation liquid, depending on the size of each area.
In order to make our sanitization drone project possible, we will need a total of $4,000 dollars to cover the cost of all parts necessary. We need to raise these funds before Thanksgiving break this year in 2020.
We would greatly appreciate a donation/sponsorship to reach our goal. Your donation would not only go towards helping keep students at the Dublin Unified School District safe and make the lives of our facilities staff easier, but it will also foster the learning and development of our members working to use technology that will revolutionize the future.
