In memory of our beloved Gage Corson
Donation protected
Gage was an athlete, an artist, a brother, a son, and so so much more to so many. He had the ability to light up any room he walked into with just his soft smile. People gravitated toward him for his warmth, humor, and loving heart. He had quality friends everywhere and was as loyal as they come.
Gage was lost suddenly during a tragic accident in the state of Florida near his home late last week. He is survived by his mother Heather, father Ken, his beautiful brother Tathum, and he left behind his wonderful partner Tabby, whom he loved with all his heart.
This is an unexpected and absolutely devastating blow to the family and to the communities that Gage impacted daily. Especially to Tathum. They were so very very close, despite having 12 years between them. Tathum worshiped Gage, and Gage was literally the best brother a kid could ever have. Tathum was everything to him.
Gage 'Vincent' and Tathum 'Theo'
Named as brothers. Protectors of each other, as Vincent and Theo Van Gogh were.
Gage was a top flight high school baseball and basketball player in Maine and then in New Jersey for the two years that he and his father lived there. He wore the #21, as does Tathum, throughout his whole life out of respect for his Uncle Rusty whom he never even knew. They were cut from the same cloth.
He is with Rusty now, along with his grandmother Carol, and his Grandfather Alan.
Gage lived life with passion and vigor every day. He loved music and attended every concert he could. He loved his dog Bree and took her absolutely everywhere with him. He helped and loved so many, and he would give the shirt off his back to a stranger in need without batting an eye.
He went to Boston with his parents when he was 4 or 5....they stopped to watch a homeless musician banging on pots, buckets and cans.... he was given 5 'big boy' dollars of his own to buy something. After many minutes of him processing what he was witnessing, and seeing people put money in the gentleman's hat, he reached into his pocket and took 3 of his own 5 dollars and quietly walked to the hat…and put it in.
That's who Gage was from the very beginning.
The family is struggling with this tragedy and needs as much support and prayer as possible. The intentions of the donations received here will be to help place Gage to rest and with the travel expenses of his family. They are also intended to help ease the financial burden of his partner and to continue the care of his beloved dog. Any small amount will be helpful, and if you are unable, we would be grateful if you could share this page. Thank you all for being such integral parts of Gage’s life, and for all your love and support during this tragic time. He loved us all so very much.
