Help us memorialize Gage Griswold

Paying Tribute to Gage - written by Sonja Bernklau, Gage's Aunt. This fundraiser is on behalf of the Griswold family.

It is with great sorrow that I share the sudden loss of my 1st nephew, Gage Griswold, to a horrific car accident on March 17. Gage was the first born in our family. Son to my only sister, Marilyn Marr and Chris Griswold. Gage grew up in an extended family with blood siblings on both his mother and his father's sides, but also an uncle, brother, cousin, nephew, son, and grandson to those he shared his childhood and young adult life with. He was loved by many.

We know the sudden loss is unbearable and want to ensure that Gage's family and friends will have an opportunity to pay their respects and say their goodbyes. Please come join us in honoring Gage. We will be paying tribute to Gage at a Flintoft's Funeral Home in Issaquah, WA, see details below. We encourage anyone who wishes to pay tribute to Gage to please come and join us. All are invited, as we know Gage touched many lives in his short time here on earth.

For those who have the means to help make this viewing and service available, we have created this go fund me in honor of Gage and his family. Funds received will go directly to the cost of the services and any funds received beyond that will be donated to Chris Griswold and his family in honor of Gage and his step-mother Jennie Griswold, who tragically lost her battle with cancer this past weekend. The Griswold family has sacrificed so much in their battle with cancer and we know the kindness of others will go a long way to easing some of the pain. The sorrow runs deep, but we have some solace in knowing Gage and Jennie are together to continue their journey beyond.

For those unable to attend Gage's services, please know there will be a celebration of life for both Gage and his step-mother Jennie at a later time. More information to follow.
