Gail Gibbs' Medical Expenses
Our mother was diagnosed in May of 2016 with Stage 4 Invasive Signet Ring Cell Carcinoma of the stomach. Since May she has undergone 12 Chemotherapy treatments with minimal progress made. Her Oncologists are now recommending a total Gastrectomy to remove her stomach which will keep her in the hospital for 7 days, with a 6 month recovery period. This type of cancer is a rare form of highly malignant gastric cancer and the sooner this procedure is performed, the better prognosis of being cured. She will have to resign from her job in order to recover from this invasive surgery. We are raising funds for her current medical bills and those that will accrue with this procedure and recovery period. No donation is too small and prayers are also very welcomed. Gail just turned 64 and has recently become a new Grandmother. Her grandson and her girls want her around for many years to come and she feels like she has a lot of fight left.
