Gaines Chapel Cemetery

The Gaines Chapel Cemetery is located in the back of private property between Ware Shoals and Honea Path, South Carolina. It has significantly suffered from years of neglect and damage from livestock. One of the most significant obstacles to restoring and maintaining this cemetery is the limited access because it is located so far back on private property. We would like to raise the funds to improve access to the site and begin restoration work. Along with improved access, we need to survey the site, repair or replace the broken headstones, and properly fence it in to prevent further damage. Please help if you can!
