We've reached $3,000! Help us reach our stretch goal of $5,000 by March 20th, the Spring Equinox, to support our donation farm! With additional funds, we plan to purchase a larger harvest fridge for our upcoming seasons.
Our Story
The Gainesville Giving Garden strives to enable equitable access to quality food and the benefits that come with healthy eating. To do so, we grow local, organic produce and donate harvests every week to families in our community who lack access to fresh, quality food.
And this Spring growing season, we need your help!
The Giving Garden is a working, urban farm in the Grove Street neighborhood where hundreds of volunteers contribute time and passions, while connecting with the earth and learning skills like planting, harvesting, and nutrition.
Help us raise the funds for seeds, compost, organic soil amendments, irrigation, and the storage space needed to expand our operations this Spring, and prepare the Garden for an even more impactful Fall season!
Food is medicine, and high-quality food shouldn’t be exclusive to a specific income bracket. Help us bridge the gap between those experiencing food insecurity and access to nutrient-dense organic produce.
Please donate today to help us reach our goal by the Spring Equinox, March 20th!
