Over the past 90 years,  Corinthians has created a legacy that has seen them win multiple Connacht Senior Cup and Leagues titles and an All Ireland Cup in 1985, the Women's AIL and All Ireland Cup titles, and numerous underage competitions in both men's and women's rugby. Now we need your help to ensure the sustainability of our club so we can continue developing the talent of the future. Join us in an ambitious and exciting vision for the continued growth of our club.  We are reaching out to Corinthian supporters both near and far to kindly ask you for a donation if possible. These monies will be used to support the growth of the club and develop new facilities to rival the best in the province that can support all players within our club as well as the wider sporting community.  Prior to the pandemic, additional land was purchased adjacent to the existing grounds where we intend to develop a 4G all-weather pitch that can also be used by the local community for other sports and an additional two playing pitches.  We understand in these times that not everyone might be in a position to help us financially but if you can contribute, we would appreciate it. We are also always on the lookout for volunteers and if you are in the position to do so please reach out and contact us.   What Drives Us?  Corinthians takes particular pride in our youth section given the important benefits that sport can have on young people's mental and physical wellbeing. Rugby, in particular, instills the values of inclusion, respect, teamwork, and excellence in players and this can be seen in many areas of the club. Six of our players have been awarded Academy contracts with Connacht for the 2020/2021 season. Our Connacht and International players who have developed at the club have a long history going from Jimmy Joyce and Jack Griffin to today's players in Dylan Tierney Martin and Oran McNulty, who was also named Energia Rising Star for 2019/2020.  We have a mixed ability section who are a joy to watch in action and our volunteers in 2019 alone have won the Galway Sports Volunteer of the Year at The Sports Federation of Ireland Volunteers in Sports Awards, the Connacht Rugby Unsung Heros Award, and the IRFU All Ireland League Volunteer of the Year Award.  One of the participants of the programme Mikey Kerin was named an honorary member of the Association of Referees Connacht Branch (ARCB), in recognition of his growing ability as a rugby referee.   Our girl's section is going from strength to strength with teams from U10 to U18 and a plan in place to introduce a senior squad back into the club. Of the current team, seven have been called into the Connacht squad this season. These girls follow in the footsteps of the women who previously played for Connacht, with seven players representing Ireland throughout the 2000s.  We want to ensure that these players and our members can continue to thrive at our club.  We hope to see you all soon in Corinthian Park cheering on our teams.
