Gam Battle Cancer With Dignity

Donation protected
Hello everyone, friends and family,

It is with great humility, I am reaching out to seek help for Gam Tran. She is currently fighting a long, courageous battle with brain cancer for nearly three years now. Because the tumor is located on the Pons, it is inoperable and she has to endure high dose chemotherapy up until now. The cancer has taken her beautiful hair, most of her eyesight, her speech and the ability to walk. Gam really needs a caregiver to care for her during the day and evening while her daughters are at school and work. The goal is to seek donations of up to $20,000 to help pay for a caregiver for Gam for six months or maybe more. It is an ambitious goal but unfortunately with the going rate for caregiver, we have to. With the help of a caregiver Gam would have a better quality of life while she fights the cancer that ravaged her body. Gam is a strong will woman with a big heart such that she rather suffers in silent than want to be a burden to others. She spent most of her time in bed, isolated with no one to talk to. Daily tasks such as eating and hygiene that we take for granted is a struggle for her. She often skips meals because it is too hard to prepare food by herself. Gam fall down quite often, and no one there to help. Her body is covered with bruises from the falls. It brings me to tears to see this once beautiful, loving, vivacious, happy, out going, always with a smile on her face and generous woman reduced to a frail, lonely, withdrawn and no longer have the zest for life. Please donate and make her life just so much better while she continues to fight the cancer. The caregiver would provide Gam with companionship, cook nutritious food, feed her and help her with hygiene needs. Gam is currently in a nursing facility and they won't let her go home until we have a full-time caregiver so we need to do this as soon as time

If you are one of Gam's many friends, you already know that she is a strong, beautiful, caring and sweet person we've been lucky enough to have touched our lives. I can't help but admire this strong single mother having raised two wonderful daughters for the last 20 years, all by herself. Life was hard but she was headstrong and determined to provide the best things in life that she could afford for them. Gam has always worked two jobs as a nurse to buy a nice little house, in a nice little neighborhood that she and her children called home. She sends them to choir, piano lessons and competitive swimming. Her daughters is her life that she never missed a singing performance or a piano recitals and spent many long weekends at swim meets. If you know Gam, you know she is a caring person always ready to extend a helping hand to anyone who needs it. When friends and family are in need she is always there for them, whether it's financial, emotional, providing comfort or just someone to talk to. As busy as she is, she always finds time for her friends. You seldom see Gam without a bright smile on her face and she is never shy showing her elated emotion with her sweet long giggles. Gam has so much zest for life; she loves walking her "baby Boo" (4 lb. Fluff ball white mutt) at the beach. She's dreams about traveling to exotic and foreign places that she haven't had the chance to experienced. A few years before her diagnosed, she was at the happiest point of her life. She has found love, someone that adores her and shares her love of adventure. She started living her dream traveling to places she has only read about. Her happiness came to a crushing halt when tragedy struck; she was diagnosed with glioma, a rare form of brain cancer on April

Cancer is a nasty disease that robs you of your health and dignity but along with it, depletes you financially to the brink of bankruptcy. Gam has exhausted her savings and relies on her disability income from social security which barely enough to cover her mortgage and utilities. Her immediate family members try to chip in to help as much as possible but thats still not enough. As you can guess Gam's financial situation is precarious, so please help and donate. Thank you so much for your generosity and God bless you. Please reach out to others and encourage them to open their hearts to help a woman who is in need.
