Going GangBusters for Gregg
Donation protected
I am heartbroken to report that our dear friend Gregg has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. Gregg is remaining hopeful and positive about the prognosis, and is extremely grateful for the support and generosity of his community. He underwent surgery on Tuesday, November 23rd at the DMC and is awaiting results on whether or not cancer has spread.
Throughout his years at The Majestic, Gregg has been an amazing friend to so many of us. He, quite literally, saved many of our lives from the crazy people of Midtown Detroit, kept us company on the slowest of nights, and always made sure every body got home safe. The man is a force -- initially subdued, once you get the man laughing, every one is laughing. His bright smile and jovial cackle are infectious and truly light up a room.
About a year ago, Gregg moved up to Empire, Michigan to enjoy all the things he loves most: fishing, camping, and the great outdoors. We created this GoFundMe to ensure that Gregg is able to recover financially from this surgery, continue any treatment if necessary, and continue to enjoy the serenity of northern Michigan for decades to come.
Please consider donating and sharing! Also, join us in going gangbusters for Gregg on Sunday, December 19th at The Majestic & Garden Bowl from 4-9pm. The event will be an in-person fundraiser BINGO fundraiser featuring both Blackout Bingo Lynn and Big Time Bingo Lisa! Win prizes, enjoy live bands and DJs, eat pizza, and celebrate the man of the hour, Cowboy Gregg!! Details to come.
