GANS -Charity - Support for Umesh N. and Rup G.

अस्टिनमा अहिले दुई वटा नराम्रा दु:खद् घटनाहरु भएका छन् ।

    1.    September 29 का दिन अस्टिनमा काम गरिराखेका ठाऊँमा अचानक रुप सिंह गुरुंगलाई ब्रेन ह्युमरेज भो र आज सम्म उहाँ होसमा आउनु भएको छैन । st. david’s medical center, 919 E 32nd St, Austin, TX 78705 मा आईसियुमा उपचार भैरहेको छ । निको भए पनि प्यारालाईसिस हुने र बोल्न नसक्ने कुरा डाक्टरले बताएका छन् । स्याग्जा पूरखौलि घर भए पनि लामो समयदेखि पोखरालेखनाथ महानगरपालिका वाड नं २६ वुडीवजार वस्दै आएका ५४ वर्षका गुरुंग  विगत ५ वर्ष देखि एक्लै अमेरिकामा संघर्ष गरिराख्नु भएको थियो । वहाँको परिवारमा श्रीमती र २ छोरीहरु नेपालमैं छन् । वहाँको परिवार भिसा प्रकृया मिलाएर आउने प्रयाशमा पनि छ । वहाँको परिवारलाई आर्थिक सपोर्ट चाहिएको छ । हामीले गर्न सक्ने आर्थिक सहयोग र वहाँको स्वास्थ्य लाभको कामना गरौं ।

    2.    October 7 का दिन राती करिव ११ बजे स्टोरमा काम गरिरहेको अबस्थामा उमेश न्यौपानेलाई लुटेरा समुहले पेटमा गोली हामेर गम्भिर घाईते बनाएका छन् । उनको किड्नी सहित ३ वटा सर्जरी भएको छ ।उनको उपचार Dell Seton Medical Center मा आईसियु कक्षमा भैरहेको छ । ३५ बर्षका न्यौपाने सिराहाका हुन् र यहाँ अस्टिनमा श्रीमती र एक स्यानो छोराका साथ बस्दै आउनु भएको छ । वहाँको स्थिती अझ पनि गम्भिर नैं छ । हामी वहाँको सिघ्र स्वास्थ्य लाभको कामना गरौं र सकेको आर्थिक सहयोग पनि गरौं ।

एउटै समयमा दशैंको मुखमा घटेका यी दुई घटनाले हामीलाई पनि असहज बनाएको छ । हामीले गर्न सक्ने सहयोग गर्ने नैं छौं । यो फण्ड रेज हाम्रो बाध्यता हो । सक्दो सहयोग र सेयर गरेर अरुलाई पनि प्रेरित गरौं सहयोग गर्न । यसमा उठेको एकमुष्ट सहयोगलाई बराबरी दुई भाग लगाएर दुवैलाई हामी तपाई दाताहरुको  तर्फबाट सहयोग गर्नेछौं ।

साथै यस्ता अपृय घटनाहरुबाट आफु जोगिन प्रयास गर्न हामी सबैलाई आग्रह गर्दछौं । स्वस्थ र सुरक्षित रहन सबैले प्रयास गर्नु होला । स्वास्थ्य बिमा र जीवन बिमा लिने तथा नियमित स्वास्थ्य परिक्षण गर्ने कुरा धेरै महत्वपूर्ण छ । शुभ दशैं!

We organized a fundraiser on behalf of our community members Umesh Neupane and Roop Singh Gurung to support them and their family during their recovery from life threatening incident.

Mr. Umesh was shot at his workplace on his stomach by a group of burglars. He had to go under three different surgeries at Dell Seton medical center and was hospitalized for over two months. Funds collected on behalf of Umesh will be used to support him and his family of son and wife during his recovery.  

Mr. Roop Singh Gurung got a brain hemorrhage, and he is still in ICU. We organized a fundraiser to support him so that there could be some relief on covering the monthly expenses while he was unable to earn. Portion of the fundraiser is also going to be spent on helping the family he was supporting to cover their short-term daily expenses. He is still recovering and is at St. David’s medical center in Austin Texas.

We are community organization and they live in the same community. They are Greater Austin Nepali society  members residing in Austin, Texas area. Withdrawal will be done in the organization account (non profit) and a organization check will be handed over to the each personally by our executive committee member.
