Garden Maintenance for Elderly

Hi! I'm a gardener and I'm raising funds for one of my elderly clients in the Narrowsburg, NY area so that I can continue to maintain her garden through the 2023 season. She is very limited with a fixed income and she can't afford to have me help anymore this season.

She has been in her house for 40 years and has many happy hours in the garden. There are times when we are talking that I can see how much joy it brings her. With her age, she finds it hard to maintain it at all, especially the slope that she has planted. It's a large garden that needs a lot of care but her body limits what she can do. She has even scaled down her edible garden since she can't maintain it any longer.

Any amount will help but the plan is to raise enough so that I can maintain her garden without her worrying about money. For the 2024 season, I hope to expand this to more than one client and have you nominate gardens that need my help.
