Garden of Eve: Multifunctional Creative Space

Hello and welcome to my fundraiser where I am asking for your contribution to create a beautiful multifunctional creative workshop space with your help & support.

Let me introduce myself: my name is Eva Vromans and I have been a creative freelancer (Eve Vents - Boiler Room Comedy) since 2013 - I have created many projects to support (young) performing artists (mainly comedians) in their careers and provide them with fun & decent stages to perform at.

In 2019 I also got interested in further educating myself and working with techniques to help people release stress, trauma and relax more in their lives. Next to working with people in 1-on-1 sessions I am now also able to educate others in these modalities and techniques, (Real Eve)

During the pandemic it was not very easy to stay afloat financially as most of my business activities include creating social activities and requiring in-person contact. I am very grateful today that I have been able to continue a few (but not all) of my previous workprojects after the restrictions had passed.

However, it is also time for something new. I am raising money for a new creative space I am going to be actualising from January 2023 in Eindhoven The Netherlands, called Garden of Eve.

Garden of Eve will be a multifunctional workshop space which I will firstly be able to use myself for performance art rehearsals and giving sessions and workshops

I also want to make this space available for other (creative) professionals who require a space to use ranging from a few hours to a day (or a few days) for a project, gathering, meeting or workshops like dance, yoga, arts & crafts, photography, meditation, movie nights, bookclubs, you name it

I am asking for a financial contribution for the expenses required to make the space ready for use and to be able to equip it with everything it requires in order to make it available to other parties.

A few of the most important expenses are:

- Renovation expenses: placing a new ceiling, installing lighting, plastering walls, fixing any decay in windows & doors, painting, flooring, curtains/blinds for windows, good security system etc.

- Equipment expenses: chairs, table, cupboards, beamer, facilities for coffee & tea and anything else to create more flexibility in use for the space etc.

- Other expenses: building contractors, cleaning, website creation, internet & power sourcing etc.
