UPDATE: Our seeds are running out and we need your help!

The time has come... our seeds are running out and sowing season is starting soon. We are planning to buy as much seeds as we can, but surprisingly the seeds are very expensive now. Especially if you want them all to be organic.

Every 5 euro that will be donated will help us buying 1 or 2 bags of seeds. Our goal is €500 and that will keep us busy for the coming years. This year we will focus more on seed-saving from our own garden. And thanks to your previous donations we were able to plant more than 300 trees! We believe we can make it possible together with some help from the ones who can miss a few euros.

Most of the seeds will be herbs because they need to develop over the years, like lavender, rosemary and thyme. Common seeds that we also want to buy are beans, tomatoes, cucumber, kale, carrots, peppers, but also special things like cucamelon, leafy goosefoot and quinoa. And of course we will update you with the results on our Facebook and Instagram.

Garden of Freedom

Welcome to the Garden of Freedom, a permaculture project in France.

We believe that we, a group of four young friends, can create

a biodiverse paradise for plants, food, animals and human beings.

All the support will go into building up the permaculture project in general,

setting up a creative hub and giving people the opportunity to learn how to

live sustainable by hosting workshops and making space for volunteers.

The project

At GoF we plan to use traditional and modern natural farming techniques to become completely self-sufficient in our nutritional needs and develop permaculture products, like tea, soap, herbal care products, dried fruits, jams and more.

We want to build accommodations so our guests can get inspired by nature while eating straight from the land.

We will host workshops, talks and movie nights so we can learn from each other and learn about the many new breakthroughs in the field.

We want the Garden of Freedom to be a place where the inhabitants and visitors feel the freedom to express themselves creatively. This is why we want to build an open workshop. Here our visitors get the opportunity to develop new skills and experiment with creating.

The farm will also be a place where people can connect to each other as well as to nature. Sit around the campfire and share stories and songs.

We will keep track of our developments, failures and lessons we learn along the way. We do this so we might help anyone that wants to start their own permaculture project. And by doing so, creating a more beautiful world our hearts know is possible.
