Garden of the Humanitarians Full Renovation

Unfortunate update,

Due to unforeseen circumstances the GoFundMe page to raise money to renovate the garden is now shutdown. Thank you to everyone who donated, supported and believed in the vision to renovate the Garden of Humanitarians for the betterment of the community. More than half of the donations have went into the garden with the lights, rat defense, fencing, and the two events that were mentioned in the initial video. The latest one being the Halloween party which turned out to be a great event. The remaining funds will still be used towards the garden to buy garden care supplies.

Although my time with the garden is over, I'm thankful for the time and work I was able to put into it these past 7 months. Thankful for the memories I was able to make with my son and with family and friends.You can still visit the garden come spring. You can speak to the caretaker Albert Santana if you are still interested in donating. It's still a special garden in our Loisaida community and will always hold a special place in my heart. We are raising funds to fully renovate The Garden of the Humanitarians located in New York City's, Lower East Side, in Manhattan. The garden is a community garden dedicated to the youth. We want to renew the garden to it's full potential and host two events for the community. We are asking for donations to raise $10,000 within 3 to 4 months. We already have an estimated project ready to go once we have the funds. The $10,000 will cover the full garden renovation and the remaining funds will be put towards the upcoming events in September and October. Garden of the Humanitarians is a space to celebrate our culture, community and youth. We want to make it a safe and welcoming environment for all to come.
