Gardendale Wrestling State Championship Rings

The Gardendale High School 2019-2020 Wrestling Team was awarded the AHSAA 6A State Tournament Championship in February 2020. The last Gardendale wrestling team to win a state championship was 45 years ago. The last Gardendale team to win any state championship was 31 years ago. Not only did this year's team win the tournament championship but they also won the AHSAA 6A State Dual Championship. It’s been an exciting season. This team worked very hard and battled injuries all season to achieve these awards. They are proud of their accomplishments and honored to represent Gardendale as state champions. 

We would like to honor this year’s championship team and coaches with state championship rings. These rings cannot be bought using public school monies according to state law. All money used for rings must be donated from the public. We are seeking to raise $10,000. Please consider donating to help congratulate these athletes for their awesome achievement and hard work. We hope to present the team with championship rings before the end of the school year.
