Gardner Bullard Memorial

Jace Bullard's son, Gardner Troy Bullard, was born on November 30, 2019. He brought so much joy into their family. He was born with an autosomal recessive condition known as Joubert Syndrome. He spent the first several months of his life in a fight proving himself worthy of a Golden Glove. After he stabilized and was able to tolerate a home ventilator, he was discharged home, where he has been for the past couple months. He was doing well, smiling, and being more interactive than he had ever been, when he unfortunately sustained severe anoxic brain injury last week. Despite the best efforts of the many medical and surgical teams that have come to know and love Gardner, his precious time with his family will soon be coming to an end.

In Jace's own words, "The last week we have been privileged to more fully understand the beauty and value of life as we prepare to send our little Gardner to his heavenly home. While we knew our time with him may be short this was unexpected and we feel the weight of loss... We have chosen to let him go in the presence of family on Wednesday, June 10th."  

During a time when the Bullard's should be celebrating graduating residency, moving across the country, and starting fellowship in Nevada, Jace and Nichole are now tasked with planning two funerals and the transportation of Gardner to Utah where he will be buried on June 19th.
