Garland Crawford's heart help

As many of you who know Garland, know he has been sick off and on for many years. Last year he missed over half the year of work due to 3 different strokes, a serious bone infection, and other issues. Now, he is out of work again. Almost three weeks ago, he was admitted to the hospital for an ongoing fever, consistent cough, weakness and a few other symptoms. A few days later, they found out his heart was not functioning properly. They found an abscess in his heart which caused a hole between the walls and discovered that he needed two valves replaced/repaired. His open-heart surgery was extremely risky due to having double pneumonia, a serious blood infection along with all his other medical issues. The doctors were worried that he would have another stroke during the surgery. Well, he made it and they were able to wake him up 6 days later. He is one tough man.
Garland will be in the hospital for about a month (if not longer) and then at home rehabbing for at least another 3 before he can go back to work. As anyone who knows Garland, you know he nor Iris, will ever ask for help with anything. But with both of them being out of work due to this and his disability only covering part of his pay once it gets approved, his family is asking for help. Anything you can do or donate will be greatly appreciated by both of them.
