Garrett and Dawn’s Transplant Journey

October 2020 Garrett was diagnosed with Non Alcoholic Liver Disease. He was told there is no cure and that the best option would be a Liver Transplant. After 2 one week long trips to Mayo Garrett was approved for the National Transplant List. Due to his age and his overall other health being good they strongly recommended a living liver donor. Dawn, Garrett and Vicky’s daughter, then went to Mayo and was approved to be a living donor. Surgery is scheduled for July 16 at the Methodist Hospital in Rochester, MN! Vicky, Matt, Jessie, and the kids, Evan, and the boys will be venturing to Rochester for surgery and recovery. We will give updates here as things progress.
