Garrett Bakhsh Family Assistance and Memorial Fund

Donation protected
Garrett Bakhsh was an innocent bystander who was tragically shot and killed following his first semester at Coker College in South Carolina. The son of two police officers, Garrett was a member of the Lacrosse Team and was studying Criminal Justice in hopes of entering a career in law enforcement. Friends, family members and colleagues are rallying around the Bakhsh family with many asking how they can help with any unanticipated costs.

UPDATE: There have been many individuals, groups, businesses and organizations that have generously donated time, money, professional services and other resources above and beyond this fund. Please know that any further contributions to the fund are likely to be put toward long-term/perpetual costs such as a scholarship fund or other projects to honor Garrett.

This fund is being established to help Garrett's family with immediate  expenses as they navigate the difficult journey of bringing Garrett home to rest. Any remaining funds will be used to create a long term memorial tribute in Garrett's name.

Any donations made to this fund will be managed to directly benefit the Bakhsh family's needs and to establish a memorial/scholarship fund in Garrett's memory.
