Garrett Dotson medical bills (son of storage wars)

We are raising money for our close friend Garrett Dotson’s medical bills (son of Dan and Laura Dotson of A&E storage wars fame). Garrett was with us at lake havasu this past weekend enjoying the river with friends. After being dropped off at his AirBnB to go to sleep he was approached by a disgruntled neighbor who pulled out a gun and fired a single shot hitting Garrett in the stomach. Garrett was hit and laid on the driveway in blood when his best friend Mauro Owens immediately grabbed him applied pressure to the wound while dragging him to safety in the house. The gunman fled the seen with his gf and where abouts are unknown. Garrett was rushed to the hospital and is in critical condition. The police officers, medics, nurses and doctors of Lake Havasu helped save his life, but the bullet had bounced around hitting his heart and spine. He had to be helicoptered to Las Vegas in critical condition while a single pilot flew the chopper to get him there in time with the attending doctor massaging Garrett’s heart to keep him alive enroute. While on his way on September 13th to Las Vegas their was a dilemma in the air as president Trump was also enroute to the same hospital UMC to make a surprise visit to thank the doctors and nurses for their bravery in route 91 aftermath.  The secret service had to be called and informed of the impending medical flight Garrett was on to the hospital. Without hesitation the secret service and president Trump gave the ok for the helicopter to land and save precious minutes to help save Garrett’s life. Immediately after landing and clearing space the chopper took off and president Trump was able to land at the hospital.
      Garrett Dotson is in stable condition with a hole in his heart and a bullet lodged in his spine. He does not have medical insurance and faces an uphill climb with months of recovery and possible more surgeries. He is in good spirits and Is off the breathing machine but he still has a collapsed lung from where they had to break open his sternum to save his life.
We are trying to raise as much money as we can to help the family with the medical bills and expenses for the time. His parents and friends would like to thank everyone for their prayers and anything you can contribute to help us. Garrett does not have health insurance so it is urgent to raise what we can to help with the medical expenses now and in the future .
