Garrett Millsap Fund for Amber and Harper

Garrett came into this world as a cotton-headed little boy and left an unforgettable mark on us as a Godly man before he passed on too soon. Of his many roles as a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, coach, and friend, there was not one he did not take seriously. Garrett was hard-headed and soft-hearted, sarcastic and full of corny jokes, and wild and full of life, yet down to earth as he always welcomed new friends into his life and insisted on gathering with his family for game nights. He always had a way to make you smile and was never scared to tell you what he thought.

 

He was a die-hard sports fan, no matter the sport. His love for the Dallas Cowboys ran deep and so did his trash-talk when your team played his. Garrett’s joy came from coaching volleyball with his wife (and best friend of ten years), Amber. Boom Squad was his passion, even in the midst of his health battles, and every player on the team has been forever changed by his selfless and relentless coaching. But his little girl, Harper, was his whole world. She will always know how much her daddy loved and adored her. This world truly was greater with him in it.

 

While we are all wrestling with the sudden loss, we do feel a sense of peace knowing that his body is completely healed and he’s walking down the streets of gold singing praises right now. Since he left before any of us were ready, we want to love Amber and Harper as much as he did and help carry them through this devastating time. Any contributions are deeply appreciated as they lighten his family’s load and ease their pain as they learn to navigate this life without him. We love y’all and God Bless!!!
