Garrett’s Healing Fund

Hi! My name is Taylor Belanger, Garrett's big sister. Garrett suffered a spontaneous brain hemorrhage due to a brain malformation called an AVM. Garrett was in the ICU at Upstate and then was lucky enough to go to Sunnyview Rehab Hospital in Schenectady, NY last summer. Although he is still considered minimally conscious, Garrett has been home since August 24, 2022. Garrett goes to therapy 4-5 times a week and is getting stronger everyday. He is still unable to speak and has limited control of his body movements. Unfortunately, Garrett still gets admitted to the hospital often due to aspiration. My mom has taken a leave of absence from work in order to keep Garrett at home. We are working tirelessly to ensure that Garrett and my family get everything they need to make this process easier... or as easy as a situation like this can be. In no way are we asking for anything extreme, but anything helps. Garrett's Army reaches far and wide, and we are so thankful for all of the prayers, support, and love you have all given us! I cannot tell you how much Garrett's Army of prayer warriors and believers has blessed me specifically, not to mention my family and, most importantly, Garrett. We pray and believe God for Garrett's full mental, emotional, and physical recovery everyday.
