Garrett Is A Good Kid Who’s Fighting For His Life!
Garrett is an honor roll student who works really hard striving to maintain all A’s,
although he does get a few B’s here and there.

At only 14 Garrett dreams of having his own YouTube channel to help spread the
word about health and fitness, so that he can help others with what he has
learned. As a student of nutrition, a green belt in both Judo and Isshinryu Karate
and an all-star member on his school’s baseball team he really does have
something to share to help make the world a better place.

Having been diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma he really needs your
help to offset the treatment costs, so that he can continue to fight this dreaded
disease and set a clear path on his road to recovery and a full and happy life.

About Garrett And His Family
As his father I can tell you that his mother and I are doing everything possible to
help our son get better, just like we know you would do for your child or loved
one.

Garrett is a very well-mannered boy, with me being Irish and his mother being
Thai, he’s definitely been raised to be as good a person as he can be with good
manners and true compassion for others as well.

If you’ve ever been to Thailand, you know why it’s called the land of smiles. The
Thai people are incredibly happy and friendly. They instill manners and respect for
their elders into their children and my wife definitely follows those traditions.
We love our son just as we know you love your family and that is why we are here
in search of funding. Because there is nothing we wouldn’t do, and we will be
forever grateful for your help.

Garrett’s Talents And Interests
*He is actually pretty good on the drums and was promoted to 8 th grade band
class while still in 7 th grade.

* He is an avid martial arts student that really loves the honor and guiding
principles of the sport.

*Basketball and baseball are his two favorite team sports where he truly enjoys
the comradery.

*One of his interesting obsessions is problem solving and dealing with numbers,
he is truly fascinated by it.

Last year he was one of only 3 students selected to give a presentation in front of
the entire school board with an idea on how to replace an abandoned building on
the school’s property.

He suggested turning into a healthy foods mini mall that also provided
employment opportunities for both students and the surrounding neighborhood.
*For a home project this last year he built his own computer from the ground up
(with the parts of course). He wanted a more powerful computer for one of his
other passions which is…

*Garrett is a pretty talented artist and get’s super excited by designing and doing
the art for video and board games.

As you can see, Garrett is a regular active teenager that loves life and wants to
keep on living it.

Then Tragedy Struck

Garrett developed a cough that lasted a couple of weeks. As a parent you’re
thinking, ‘this is normal, all kids get little coughs now and then’.

Then we noticed a lump on his neck and one just starting under his armpit. That’s
when we dropped everything and took him to see a doctor.

At first, they didn’t know exactly what to make of it. But we weren’t just going to
go home without an answer.

So, we kept after it and they finally got him in to see a specialist.
Our worst fears came to life.

Diagnosis 5-29-2020
We were both stunned and mortified all at once.

Garrett was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

Since then, the cough has become relentless, he’s lost far too much weight and
has developed stomach and digestive issues as well.

Garrett Is Fighting This Disease Head On!
I have to say that I am so proud of my son. He thinks like an adult and is wise
beyond his years.

Even though he’s so sick, he is spending his time along with his mother and I
researching this disease looking for anything that will help him, whether it be
natural, western medicine or a combination of both.

He is searching to not only find the cure for himself but for all the other people
out there suffering from this dreadful disease.

Even feeling as bad as he does, he is still determined to help change the world.

Garrett's Future
Though he has many passions his main goal in life is to help others.

First by setting up a YouTube Channel making videos that help people to become
more aware and educated about their health, nutrition and fitness so that they
can lead happier, healthier and more empowered lives.

He truly has faith in mankind and believes that by helping one, they in turn will
help another and so on until real change is seen in the world.

Of course, because he loves gaming so much, he also wants to be an entrepreneur
in the video and board game industry, so that he can work for himself and be his
own boss.

And it is our utmost desire as his parents that he is given the chance to follow
those dreams and live a long, happy disease free life.

Here’s What You Can Do To Help

Garrett needs funding to cover the medical bills that the insurance doesn’t cover

and for his mother to be able to be with him full time and his father whenever
he’s not working in the hospital that’s over 4 hours away, so that he’s not all
alone.

There are transportation and food costs as well, because we bring him fresh,
wholesome food each day to ensure he’s getting the nutrition his body needs to
recover and get well.

One such bill was a helicopter Evac ride when too much fluid built up around his
heart and our local hospital knew they had to move him to the more specialized
hospital over 4 hours away.

The insurance only covers part of that expense.

To Help Save Garrett
Please help in the funding as much as you can, any amount you feel moved to
provide will be enormously appreciated.

We will provide updates on how Garrett is doing so that you can see firsthand
that you truly are making a difference in his life.

All we can say is, thank you, thank you so much!

Justin,
Garrett’s father.
