Jake and Sarah's Adoption Fund

Hi!
Thank you for taking the time to visit our adoption fundraising page. A lot of you know our story but I’m sure some do not.
Jake and I were married in May 2009. In October 2011 we decided to try to start to grow our family as having kids was something we had both always dreamed of. It has been quite the journey. Over the last 3 years we have faced many heartbreaking struggles. We have dealt with infertility, infertility treatments (including 2 rounds of In-Vitro), and 3 devastating miscarriages.
We did tons of praying and decided to start looking into adoption. We quickly learned just how much it was going to cost and felt like it was going to be impossible. Domestic newborn adoption costs about $25,000. We were so discouraged so we kept praying and still felt called to adopt. We know that God is much bigger than $25,000 and we believe that if He is calling us to this He will make it possible.
We applied to the adoption agency on June 11, got to work on our home study, and on July 9 submitted a one page profile to the agency and prayed like crazy. Three short weeks later, on July 30th, the agency notified us that there was a birth mom that chose us! Three days after that, our home study was complete. In short, just a month and a half after starting the whole process we were matched with a birth mom!!! We have chosen to have an open adoption which means we will continue to have contact with the birth mom throughout the child’s life.
We have had the opportunity to meet the birth mom who is from Troy, OH. She is absolutely incredible. She is a very sweet, loving, and strong woman. She has overcome some very difficult obstacles in her life and has selflessly chosen to make an adoption plan for her child. She has invited us to come to all of her prenatal appointments which has given us the opportunity to experience some of the pregnancy and really get to know her. We are thankful that we will be able to be there when the baby is born.
It’s a Girl! Our sweet baby girl (we're naming her Chloe) should arrive (by C-section) on December 22 and come home with us 3 days later on Christmas Day! We are the happiest people in the world. This is an answer to so many prayers and a dream come true!
If you are able to donate any amount of money we would be extremely grateful. No amount is too small! Also, please keep us, the birth mom, and this sweet baby girl in your prayers!
Thanks!
