Let's Help Gary Agresti With His Stroke Recovery!

On Oct 30th, Gary Agresti suffered a stroke, (and 2 more mini strokes since then), which left his left side temporarily incapacitated. Thankfully his mental capabilities were spared. Through ongoing physical therapy, he’s regained use of his left arm and leg, but will need ongoing physical therapy to regain coordination in his left hand. Being a drummer, this is especially frustrating for him, but he will do it!! How can you help?

As a self employed business owner and a professional production contractor, there is no personal time off or leave of absence possible. Simply put, if Gary doesn’t work he doesn’t get paid, and obviously there is no working from a hospital bed. As you can imagine, he and Marlena are beyond stressed over the the impact that this loss in income will mean. The road to recovery will be long, difficult and expensive. Every little bit will help.

Being accomplished and proud, Gary doesn’t want to accept assistance, but is slowly coming to the realization that he won’t be able to do it on his own, and as his closest friends, we feel we’d like to help ease some of the stress, which will help his recovery process.

He’s contributed so much to our music community, including giving of his time, talents and equipment, and donations to other musicians’ fundraisers. Now we’d like to offer him our help, along with you if you’re able. Every bit helps, and donations can be anonymous as well.

If you’ve had the pleasure of knowing Gary Agresti, you know what a talented, multi-faceted, hard working music industry pro he is, as well as a great guy. Over the last several decades, as production manager, sound engineer, and as a musician himself, we can honestly say that every project Gary undertakes, he goes above and beyond to make it great. Can’t wait to see him behind a drum set again!
