Cure Leukaemia Riding for Survival
Donation protected
Hi, I'm Gary, a retired business owner and now an avid cyclist living in Sedona, AZ. I have never attempted a physical activity on this scale. In June 2023, I will be tackling The Tour 21 on behalf of Cure Leukaemia, alongside 24 amateur cyclists as we look to complete the full Tour de France route one week ahead of the professionals.
Starting in Bilbao, The Tour 21 will take place from Friday, 23 June - Sunday, 16 July and will tackle all 21 grueling stages and 2,175 miles of the Tour de France route - one of the world's most grueling sporting challenges. This year's Tour route will be announced in October 2022 and will see us pass through many different countries, terrains and immense challenges - before finishing at the Champs-Élysées, Paris.
Our goal is to raise a combined £1M for Cure Leukaemia.
My sister inlaw is battling blood cancer right now. At this point she is winning the fight. My wife is also a lung cancer survivor so I am determined to do all I can to wipe out this dreaded disease. I know through my fundraising efforts I can continue to make outcomes like this possible.
I know I can't do this alone, so with your help we will win this battle!
