Our beloved friend, Alana Greene unexpectedly lost her true love and soulmate, Gary Byrne on Thursday, August 27, 2020. Gary was the love of her life. Not only was he a kind, supportive gentleman, but Gary was like a Father to Alana’s beautiful daughter Kate. She felt the love of a father. He loved her with all his heart and was thrilled to be part of the family. He became a hockey dad, attended her dance recital, was proud to watch her 6th grade graduation, taught her how to build things, made her special dinners and spoiled her with Irish candy. He was a true dad. Alana and Kate are devastated, but so grateful and feel blessed to have been so loved by this wonderful man.
Gary was a very proud Irishman, and was so thrilled to become an American citizen this past February. He cried the morning of his ceremony because he loved Ireland so much, but wanted to be an American citizen too, and could not wait to vote in November.
While we cannot take away the immense sadness and loss, we can join together and relieve Alana of financial challenges that lie ahead. No amount too small. Please help bring Gary to his final resting place, Kilcock, Ireland.
