Gary Du Plooy Recovery Fundraiser

Dear Players, Caddies, Tour Staff, Friends & Family,

We hope this message finds you well. We write to bring your attention to a dear friend and respected colleague, Gary Du Plooy, who has recently encountered a challenging and unexpected health setback.

Approximately two weeks ago, during his time off from the Tour in London, Gary suffered from a stroke, leaving him facing difficulties with his vision, swallowing, and the process of regaining full movement. Thankfully, the clot has been successfully removed, and he is now on the path to recovery. Nevertheless, we are all aware that this journey requires both time and perseverance.

With an impressive career spanning over 20 years on both the European Men's and LPGA Tour, Gary has become an esteemed figure amongst his peers. He is not only a skilled professional but also a person of genuine kindness, possessing a heart of pure gold. The support he receives during this trying period will be of immense significance to him and his family.
Being a caddie involves inherent uncertainty, and Gary's prolonged recovery will prevent him from returning to his beloved job of walking the fairways with his friends and colleagues. It is during this critical phase that we, as a golf community, come together to offer our assistance.

We humbly request your generosity in contributing to Gary's GoFundMe page, as any amount, no matter how small or big, will make a meaningful impact. Your thoughtful donations will not only aid Gary with his rehabilitation but also extend support to his family as they navigate through these challenging circumstances.

Gary's spirit and dedication have touched many lives and now is the time to show him how much he means to us all. We are deeply grateful for your consideration and support during this difficult period.

Thank you for your compassion and kindness.
Sincerely,
David Buhai
