Gary Fishman’s Post-Stroke Recovery Fund

On the evening of May the 4th, 2022, Gary Fishman came home from work and suffered a stroke, caused by a still yet to be identified infection in his brain. When he arrived at the ER in Aventura hospital, they put him into a medically induced coma where he laid silent for 44 days. The doctor’s expected little to no recovery. Miraculously on day 45 (Father’s day of all days) Gary awoke and much to our surprise, he wished us all a happy Father’s Day! They were the first words he had spoken in over a month. The doctors and nurses could hardly contain themselves. The entire hospital staff is elated with his progress, however the cost of his rehabilitation will unfortunately be substantial and mostly uncovered by his insurance. As well, both he and his children’s bills are surmounting at home. So, we are reaching out to all of you, his nearest and dearest friends and family in the world and asking that you give anything which you may be able to, even if it’s simply your thoughts and prayers.
