Gary Pizzo Sr passed in a tragic truck accident last week and people have been asking how they can help his family. The obituary below gives you some insight on Gary and his family's love for him and if you would like to help Cindy after this loss, it would be greatly appreciated.

Gary D. Pizzo, Sr., 61, a longtime Norwich resident, passed away suddenly on Friday, December 22, 2023. He was born in Norwich, Connecticut on August 13, 1962 the son of the late Walter and Geraldine (Brennan) Pizzo.
Gary worked for many years as a commercial truck driver and loved getting up early in the morning.
Trying to capture on paper the life of Gary Pizzo can be a bit of a challenge. We can start with the fact that he was a fan of the Pittsburg Steelers and the New York Yankees. He lived in Norwich for most of his life and spent 45 of those years with the love of his life, Cindy (Sikorski) Pizzo who he met by chance leaving a convenience store. The rest as they say is history. Together they had four wonderful children, Gary, Jr., Derrick, Alexis, and Christopher. Gary was very proud of all of them. His path through life was not always on a straight and narrow road. However, one thing is true, Gary knew how to command the room and be a great dad. He will be forever missed by all who knew him and loved him.
