Hi, My name is Marc Eggers and I'm trying to help a long time family friend Gary Soriano who is disabled and in desperate need of financial means to get well again. Gary is an outstanding individual with service with 2years in Vietnam delivering ammunition for the Merchant Marines. He also was a music manager for several PNW bands like Lance Romance, Child, Earthquake and the Tremors as well as The Wailers. Gary was a treasure hunter in N. Carolina where he found a Gallion (but no treasure), and also found one of Blackbeards ships called "Queen Annes Revenge" which turned in to the authorities of the state of S. Carolina. He headed to Mexico in 2006 to explore and live. Still in Mexico he spent time helping people in every community he lived in. Not too long ago Gary and his partners invested money in rare earth minerals and setup a lab in Los Angeles. They began gathering minerals in crude form to send to the lab but when COVID hit all freight transport was stopped and all the money Gary and his partners had invested was lost which left him without 2 pesos to rub together.

Several years ago Gary started having issues with his esophagus without understanding what was going on. After some tests run by his Dr.'s it was established that his esophagus mostly closed and the food he was vomiting was coming from his esophagus and not his stomach. The Dr.'s did many more tests and gave him botox treatments to his esophagus but they didn't last very long and at $3k each time (money he didn't really have) he couldn't do it again and really just needed but could not afford the ($10,000) surgery to fix the problem. Gary is 6'4" tall and usually weighing between 200lbs and 230lbs, but because of not being able to eat, he now weighs only 107lbs and dropping. He has been mostly bedridden for 4 years as he can only keep down about a cup of soup at a time and doesn't have the energy to do much of anything. Now he is being evicted from the hotel where he has been staying for the last 2 years. He needs money to get on his feet, somewhere to stay and get the surgery he so desperately needs to feel better and start living his life again.
